Sunnis vs. Shi’ites
The cover story in this week’s Time is a must-read for anyone interested in better understanding the mutual hatred between Sunnis and Shi’ites in Iraq. This has long been a subject that’s perplexed me. I never understood how or why two groups that worship the same God could share such deep-rooted anomosities. This article sheds a great deal of light on the subject.
